(Q) How can I send a report to a client who doesn't have Access
installed?
(A) Access 97 has a new utility called Snapshot Viewer
which you can download from Microsoft free of charge.

This utility "prints" out your report to a file with a .SNP extension.
This file can be then sent to the client as an email attachment. All the end user
would need is the same utility (no installation of Access is needed) to view/print the
report.
The process of sending the .snp file as an email attachment can also be automated from
VBA using SendObject method. Check out the Viewer's Help File for complete
documentation.
