Forms: Form only allows new records to be entered

Author(s)

(Q) Each time I open my data entry form, I can't go back to view the records that were entered previously.  However, I can enter new records just fine.  What could be wrong?

(A) Most of the time, this means that the "Data Entry" property of the form is set to True.  The default value for this property is "False" which means that Access opens the form and shows the existing records.  However, if set to True, the Data Entry property of the form specifies that the form will only show a blank record.
